NPower to participate in NINFA workshop on groundwater innovation

NPower will participate in the upcoming NINFA Workshop – Understanding Groundwater Through Innovation, a hybrid event taking place on 21 April 2026 in Los Alcázares (Murcia, Spain) and online.

Organised by the NINFA Project, this workshop focuses on innovation, technology and practical solutions for groundwater management, bringing together project partners, technical coordinators, public authorities and experts to discuss current challenges at both local and European levels.

The event will include:

An overview of the local groundwater situation in Los Alcázares
Contributions from local administration and invited experts
Presentation of the NINFA project, its technologies and pilot actions
A live demonstration of the NINFA Decision Support System (DSS), supporting evidence-based groundwater management
Sessions dedicated to sister projects and open discussion

NPower will contribute to the session on sister projects, presenting its approach to improving nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) management at regional scale, and its connection to water systems and circular solutions.

Both NPower and NINFA are part of the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster, which fosters collaboration across EU-funded projects addressing water quality and environmental sustainability.

The workshop is open to water management professionals, public authorities, researchers, technology providers, students and stakeholders interested in groundwater protection and innovation.
