PHAROS Mega Event – Marine Restoration and Blue Economy

Three-day event on ocean innovation, Living Labs and community engagement

From 26 to 28 May 2026, the PHAROS Mega Event will take place across multiple locations in South-West Ireland (Kerry and West Cork), bringing together a wide range of stakeholders to advance marine restoration and the blue economy.

Organised by NPower partner’s Munster Technological University Kerry and Bantry Marine Research Station, the event will gather government representatives, researchers, innovators, educators, businesses, investors and local communities. It will mark the launch of two Living Labs and showcase initiatives addressing marine restoration challenges through citizen engagement, school programmes and innovative demonstrations.

As part of the Atlantic and Arctic Lighthouse community, the event aims to strengthen ocean literacy and promote collaborative approaches to restoring marine ecosystems while supporting sustainable economic development.

NPower highlights this event as an opportunity to connect with broader initiatives working on sustainability, resource management and circular systems.

Will you be there? We look forward to connecting and exchanging perspectives on-site.
