Towards a Sustainable Nutrient Balance in Waste and Wastewater Management

On 12 November 2025, the Murcia Regional Cluster of NPower will host an online workshop focused on the balance of nitrogen and phosphorus in the waste and wastewater management sector.

The event will bring together key regional stakeholders — including representatives from public utilities, research organisations, industries, and regional authorities — to discuss nutrient flows, identify opportunities for circularity, and define shared actions for the Murcia Regional Cluster’s Multi-Actor Transition Group.

The session will begin with short presentations introducing the NPower and ENDORSE projects and their approaches to nutrient management, followed by technical insights into nitrogen and phosphorus balances in the waste and wastewater sectors.

Two interactive co-creation sessions will allow participants to exchange experiences, highlight regional challenges, and propose collaborative strategies to improve nutrient recovery and promote circular resource use.
