Workshop on Livestock Sustainability and Circular Bioeconomy in Lorca (Murcia)

On 19 November 2025, DAB Biotecnología and Lambert, both partners of the Murcia Regional Cluster of the NPower project, will take part in the training workshop “Circular Bioeconomy: Transformation, Valorisation and Sustainable Management of Livestock Manure,” organised by ASETAGA at the CIFEA of Lorca – National Reference Centre for Livestock.

The workshop will present practical solutions and case studies on livestock waste management and valorisation within the framework of the circular bioeconomy. Key topics include:

🔹 Technologies and processes for the sustainable management of livestock slurry.🔹 Valorisation of organic residues through composting and natural fertiliser production.🔹 Use of natural bacteria to optimise pig slurry treatment and reduce environmental impact.🔹 Renewable energy generation from organic waste: biogas production.🔹 Legal requirements for the commercialisation of bioproducts derived from livestock residues.
